Our first-ever independent bottling back in 2016 was a 1972 Invergordon single grain. Ten years on, we’re marking a decade of Thompson Bros alongside the 50th anniversary of our German partners, Kirsch Import. Distilled in 1976 and matured for half a century, it’s liquid history bringing things full circle.

Palate: Tropical, juicy, and deceptively lively. It kicks off with a bright, nostalgic mouthful of mango and pineapple Starburst fruit chews, drenched in orange oil. The mid-palate takes a delicious turn into a traditional Italian pasticceria, bringing concentrated almond essence, soft, chewy amaretti biscuits, and sweet almond paste.
Finish: Long, composed, and well-behaved. Despite resting in wood for 50 years, the cask remains remarkably restrained. A gentle, fine tannin grip frames the finish without drying things out, letting the lingering tropical fruit and bright citrus oils ride out to a clean, balanced close.
Non-chill filtered and natural colour. This spirit may haze at low temperatures and under dilution.
