Nose: Lime oil, stewed citrus peels, cornfields (creaking), a blast of sea air and hot, roasted hazelnuts.
Palate: Wonderfully thick and oily, a little sharp farmyard funk, sea buckthorn, sultanas, ginger root, and cinnamon.
Finish: Nutty, saline, bracing. A slice of savoury Christmas cake with a glass of bitter lemon mixer. Lasting wood spice with light parmesan rind.
