Description

Fifty-two years is a long time. While the world has seen immense change, the life of this whisky has been one of quiet Highland constancy.

Distilled at Ben Nevis in 1973, it has never left the Highlands, resting first at its birthplace in Fort William and later under our care at Dornoch.

This spirit is a testament to the many people who stewarded it across eras. It was distilled under the Hobbs family, slumbered through the Whitbread / Long John period, and was safeguarded for decades by Nikka, under the watchful eye of the late Colin Ross.

Our label, reinterpreted by Andrew, pays tribute to the historic Long John’s bottlings of the past.

With each dram, we invite you to raise a glass in heartfelt thanks to the generations of people who made this whisky possible.

Bottled by the Thompson Brothers.
