Update No.14 1st July 2016

By July 1, 2016No Comments

Up’s and Downs….

This week has been particularly testing. We were massively let down by a bottle manufacturer, however we can overcome almost anything. These moments were meant to test us and we have (almost) found a good solution!

On a more positive note we have overcome various issues and the builders and joiner have worked particularly hard this week. I must note that we have had some great assistance from SSE (Thank you Mr Ross) the Highland council and our local councillor, Jim McGillivary, has been wonderfully supportive and have helped us greatly when needed!

Glorious! Holes for venting and gas!

Simon has been working hard on the HMRC paperwork and I have to say that they have been incredibly helpful and supportive of Dornoch Distillery!

We have hosted our Japanese importer this week. He is very excited to sell Dornoch Distillery products in Japan and wants to create some wonderful bespoke collaboration bottlings for our Japanese friends!

Thanks for all of the ongoing support. We should also thank all of our staff at Dornoch Castle, the glug glug club and our parents for the help and support. We are making great progress and are fully committed to creating something beautiful.

Our bottle filler arrived today…… we just need a product now 😉
