Nose: Lemon curd, wet pebbles, ozone, with a really fresh and precise minerality cut with salinity. Not too much Campbeltonian funk is present. Fresh wood, soil and barley grist. Guavas and underripe pineapple, warm sourdough and a fresh tin of shortbread.
Palate: Orange marmalade, candlewax, guavas again, very alive in the mouth – akin to a little lick of a battery. Mulled apple juice, lemon preserve on a scone topped with cinnamon.
Finish: Long and bright and electric and lemony and white peppery.
