Nose: Gentle islay peat provides the backdrop for this whisky, with lemon curd, soft red apples and red grapes coming forward. Milk bottles and a touch of eucalyptus. Beneath all of this, you have a malty sweetness, like porridge oats that you forgot to stir.
Palate: Baked red apples, lemon meringue pie, olive oil, baby Caol Ila, quite industrial with machine oil notes and a slight metallic edge.Â
Finish: White pepper, kiwi, green grapes and Maldon salt
Non-chill filtered and natural colour. This spirit may haze at low temperatures and under dilution.
