We are delighted to present to you the first-ever independently bottled release from Lindores Abbey distillery. This liquid was filled into an Ex-Bourbon barrel on the 4th of March 2021, and reracked into an STR Oloroso hogshead in October 2024. Just as Friar John Cor intended with his ‘bolls’ of malt way back when.
Nose: Red grapes, squid ink, Camp’s coffee, Haribo Giant Strawbs, eucalyptus, menthol and walnut skin.
Palate: Wild strawberries, figs, caramel, crimson grapes, hazelnut latte – “I only asked for two pumps!” – Kopiko coffee drops, fizzy laces.
Finish: Slightly mentholated, it remains fresh in the cheeks for a while. Comes full circle and returns to the Giant Strawbs on the finish.
