Inchfad Single Malt Scotch Whisky
2007 Vintage, 15 Years Old
70% PX & 30% Bourbon / 220 bottles
51.1% ABV
Nose: Ground 5 spice, gingerbread/Jamaica cake. Old, wet wool jumper. Waxes, lanolin, antique polish. Proving sourdough and menthol tobacco. Autumn forest floor; sweetness of decomposing wood/leaves.
Palette: Candied walnuts, more 5 spice, fresh ginger, Hinoki, cedar, juniper. Some rosewater (Turkish delight), orange blossom and peel. Bitter Cacao nibs; Traditional hot chocolate.
Finish: Fentimens cola, cinnamon and red grape skin.
We were able to purchase a parcel of remnant stock which contains a selection of incredibly juicy spirits. We decided to bottle these in 200ML bottles as the volumes are very limited.
These will be available from our webshop, our shop in Dornoch and from the Dornoch Castle Hotel’s Whisky bar.
Non-chill filtered and natural colour. This spirit may haze at low temperatures and under dilution.
